For example, the vulcanization system (including crosslinking agents (vulcanizing agents), crosslinking aids (vulcanizing agents additives), propellants, and activators) can chemically crosslink linear rubber macromolecules to form a three-dimensional spatial network structure, thereby transforming plastic viscoelastic rubber into elastic vulcanized rubber; Reinforcing fillers can protect the rubber material from the required mechanical properties, with the main effect being the processing performance and cost reduction; Softening plasticizers and other processing aids can give the rubber material the required processing properties, with the main effect being cold resistance and cost reduction; Antioxidants can improve the aging performance of vulcanized rubber and provide protection against various types of aging, thereby extending the service life of rubber sheets.

Raw rubber is the basic material for manufacturing rubber sheets, which generally does not contain any additives, but sometimes may also contain certain additives. At present, there are no less than 100 types of rubber (including plastic modified elastomers). If estimated by brand, there are actually over 1000 types, and their classification is roughly as follows. According to the source and method of production, it can be divided into two categories: naturally grown rubber and synthetic rubber. The consumption of naturally grown rubber accounts for about 42%, while the consumption of synthetic rubber accounts for about 58%.
