Several requirements for storage of rubber seals

1) Temperature: 5 ℃ to 25 ℃ is the ideal storage temperature and should not be higher than 25 ℃. Avoid contact with heat sources and sunlight. Seals removed from low-temperature storage should be placed in a room temperature environment for at least 10 minutes before use.

2) Cleaning: Seals can be cleaned with soapy water as needed. Specific actual agents, organic solvents (based on actual reports), and sharp tools should not be used. The cleaned seal should be air dried at room temperature and should not be exposed to heat sources. The environment for storing rubber seals should be kept clean.

3) Humidity: The relative humidity of the warehouse should be below 70%. To avoid excessive humidity or dryness, condensation should not occur.

4) Light exposure: Rubber seals should be stored away from light, especially strong sunlight and ultraviolet radiation. UV resistant packaging bags can provide excellent protection. Suggest painting the windows of the warehouse with red or orange paint or applying thin film.

5) Radiation: Avoid damage to seals caused by ionizing radiation.

6) Deformation: Rubber seals should be placed in a freely relaxed state to avoid stretching, compression, and other deformations, such as being unsuitable for hanging or stacking.

7) Packaging: Rubber seals must not come into contact with solvents, oils, magnetic materials, or other materials that may damage the rubber. PVC material cannot be used to package seals. Seals made of different materials must not be mixed together.

8) Storage period: The storage period of rubber parts is determined by the type of rubber material.

9) Oxygen and ozone: Rubber materials should avoid exposure to circulating air. This can be achieved through packaging, wrapping, storage in airtight containers, or other suitable methods. In the storage space, there should be no equipment that can generate ozone, such as mercury vapor lamps, high-voltage electrical appliances that are prone to generating electric sparks or static electricity, or electric motors.
